Gage Goulding (born June 19, 1998) is an American journalist.
Early Life
Gage was born in Latrobe, Pennsylvania and grew up in Ligonier, Pennsylvania[1]. He graduated from Robert Morris University in Moon Township, Pennsylvania with B.A. in Applied Journalism with minors in Public Relations and Organizational Leadership[2].
Career
He started his career in 2018 working as a Digital Content Producer at the CBS-owned and operated television station KDKA-TV in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania[3].
In 2019, he moved to WTOV-TV in Steubenville, Ohio/Wheeling, West Virginia where he was a reporter and news anchor. He was there until late 2020[1].
During the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic, Gage moved to Fort Myers, Florida and became an anchor and reporter with WBBH-TV and WZVN-TV, which was owned by the now defunct Waterman Broadcasting of Florida[1]. The stations were purchased by Hearst Television in July 2023[4].
During his time at WBBH-TV and WZVN-TV, Gage covered several prominent stories, including Hurricane Ian, Hurricane Idalia and the search for Gabby Petito[5][6][7]. His work during Hurricane Ian earned him a nomination for an Emmy Award as well as a regional Edward R. Murrow Award, which was presented to WBBH-TV for Overall Excellence[8][9][1]. Gage left WBBH-TV and WZVN-TV in December 2023[10].
Gage is currently a news reporter at KPRC-TV in Houston, Texas. Joining the on-air team in December, 2023, he's already covered a variety of news, including the Smokehouse Creek Fire in the Texas Panhandle.
Personal Life
Gage lives in Houston with his fiancé, Megan and their dog Huck[11][12].
