Alleged absurdity

This category is absurd. Most of the Australian population is wholly or partly of English ancestry. A category of English-born Australians might be useful. This one is not. Adam 06:27, 1 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Ignoring the dubious factual accuracy of that statement, it is offensive that Englishness is the only ethnicity which is deemed to be of such low value that some people think that English hyphenated categories should not exist, when there is a whole system of hyphenated categories. there is no point in any hyphenated categories of multi raced australians it is as was said previously, absurd.

I agree 100% with Adam's comments. Peter Ballard (talk) 05:36, 29 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

expatriates

are any of the people in this category expatriates instead of immigrants to Australia? If so, a category named 'British expatriates in Australia' needs to be created for them. Thanks, Hmains 01:29, 19 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

"See English-Australian"

Not very helpful, as English-Australian is a redlink! Loganberry (Talk) 23:00, 5 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
