Balghelu Rural District (Persian: دهستان بالغلو) is in the Central District of Ardabil County, Ardabil province, Iran.[3] Its capital is the village of Sham Asbi.[4]
Demographics
Population
At the time of the 2006 National Census, the rural district's population was 21,368 in 4,966 households.[5] There were 7,297 inhabitants in 1,987 households at the following census of 2011.[6] The 2016 census measured the population of the rural district as 8,054 in 2,334 households. The most populous of its 18 villages was Sham Asbi, with 2,817 people.[2]
