Allahabad (Persian: اله اباد)[a] is a village in, and the capital of, Allahabad Rural District of Allahabad District of Zarach County, Yazd province, Iran.[4]
At the 2006 National Census, its population was 3,068 in 770 households, when it was in the former Zarach District of Yazd County.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 4,626 people in 1,149 households.[6] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 5,573 people in 1,443 households. It was the most populous village in its rural district.[2]
In February 2023, the district was separated from the county in the establishment of Zarach County, which was divided into two districts and three rural districts, with Zarach as its capital and only city.[4]
