  • Hello, I just discovered this site. I am an administrator on the English Wikipedia, where I occasionally make edits to medical-related articles (mostly ones that tread into pseudoscience territory, although that is not my focus on Wikipedia). I do not expect to be heavily involved here, but I would like the ability to contribute if I see an opportunity to do so. At the moment I am motivated by the fact that my mother is dying from Alzheimer's disease and I know there is a hereditary component that may affect me eventually. I am not a medical practitioner so anything I contribute would be based on reliable sources I can find, just like on Wikipedia. Anachronist (talk) 04:38, 13 April 2022 (UTC)

  • I’m interested primarily in contributing to sections dealing with heart, ear, nose, and throat. I am active on the English versions of Wikipedia and Wikinews, and was an IP editor, and have created my account like 7 months ago. I don’t plan on being heavily involved, just drive-by contributions and occasionally huge ones. I must say, the logo looks great, who designed it? Most of my research and professional work outside of school focuses on emergency medicine both clinically and as a key intersection of medicine and public health. I'm interested in expanding content related to emergent conditions and care as well as content related to population health implications and interventions related to diseases.
