Hello! My name is Sheila and I am a Spanish translator based in Spain. I graduated 4 years ago, although I have never worked as a translator. I spent two years working as a shop assistant in a stationary product and book shop. I learned a lot during this period, but now it is time for me to return to my passion: translation. I specialized in Medical Translation and one of my favourite fields is democratization of medical information. In fact, that is the subject of my final year project! I focused on translation strategies for translating "Fact sheets for patients" genre, among other interesing topics. I am also interested in environmental and social topics.
