With the name Yun Lin on birth certificate, and Gilbert Lin used in Proz.com, he is an active linguist and a licensed physician, radiologist and researcher in Chongqing, mainland China. As a researcher, he has undertaken 1 scientific project from Natural Science Foundation of China, and published 2 articles in major scientific journals focusing medicine.
