I actively edit articles on English Wikipedia, which is how I started my involvement in our global community to crowdsource open, free, and credible knowledge. I strive to cite reliable, third party independent published sources with a reputation for fact-checking and accuracy to support all claims that are made here on this encyclopedia. While I believe in the motto Be Bold, I avoid any editing that may be construed as a conflict of interest. While few guidelines across any of the Wikimedia Projects are completely clear, I personally find that working with others in good faith often produces the best results overall, both on and off wiki.

When working on an article about a person [[WP:BLP]], all information should be presented using a Neutral Point of View [[WP:NPOV]], include information that is Verifiable [[WP:V]], and not contain any Original Research [[WP:NOR]]. Please remember to cite Reliable [[WP:RELIABLE]] sources to demonstrate Notability [[WP:N]] in general and specific Notability in People [[WP:BIO]]. If related to a person in politics, ensure this fulfills the requirements in [[WP:NSUBPOL]].

Articles on Wikipedia should follow the policy of presenting content from a Neutral Point of View per [[WP:NEUTRAL]], meaning information should be represented fairly and proportionately, avoiding stating opinions as facts, seriously contested assertions as facts, or through using judgmental language.
Self-published [[WP:SELFPUBLISH]] or self-referential [[WP:ABOUTSELF]] sources should generally be avoided due to potential conflicts with information verifiability [[WP:VERIFY]]
Avoid using Wikipedia as a source for itself per [[WP:NOTSOURCE]]. Cite external, reliable sources as evidence to support your claims per [[WP:VERIFY]]
The purpose of an article's talk page is to provide space for editors to discuss changes to its associated article or WikiProject. Article talk pages should not be used by editors as platforms for their personal views on a subject, and all discussion there should be directed solely toward the improvement of the encyclopedia per [[WP:TALK]]

Citations alone generally do not add value. Beyond adding a citation alone, make sure to provide a sentence or two within the article itself to express your contribution in context (which the citation will support). This will demonstrate how your addition adds to the overall knowledge in the article. Please add a sentence or two to the article you edited and then ping me here when done.
