Hi, I am Dr. Claudio Butticè, Pharm.D., a former clinical and hospital pharmacist who worked for several large public hospitals in Southern Italy, as well as for the humanitarian NGO Emergency.

I am eagerly editing both the Italian and US Wikipedia on all topics that pertain my field of specialization such as technology, medicine, pharmacology, health, nutrition and science. I also like to delve into other fields I'm passionate about like history, video gaming, and sociology. I think that the dissemination of scientific knowledge constitutes the foundation for a healthy evolution of human race, so I want to provide my contribution to humanity by writing as much as I can.

Today, I am an accomplished book writer who wrote as an author in several encyclopedias, including The SAGE Encyclopedia of Cancer and Society (2015), The SAGE Encyclopedia of World Poverty (2015), and other medicine and public health reference textbooks such as Universal Health Care (2019) and What You Need to Know about Headaches (2022) for Bloomsbury Publishing. I'm also a freelance technology journalist, a data analyst, and a medical advisor and writer for several international firms in the United States and Europe.

I hold a Master’s degree in Pharmacy from the University of Palermo.
