Things to remove from this

  1. Take out the pictures. This is a navigation template, and is normally hidden. Pictures slow down the load and will be seldom looked at. Pictures can go in the article on the binary hydrides instead.
  2. Take out excessive redlinks for nonnotable germanes, azanes, phosphanes, polysulfanes.
  3. Take out Thiosulfurous acid and Thiosulfoxide which are not binary hydrides, and will never be.
  4. Take out most of the organic hydrides, and put these in a hydrocarbon nav template instead. Link to that temnplate from this one, but don't transclude it
  5. Are ions out of scope? If not then helium hydride, argonium, oxonium, and ammonium can be included.
  6. Is exotic matter out of scope? If not then we can have positronium hydride. Graeme Bartlett (talk) 22:34, 27 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
@Graeme Bartlett: What about this change? I know it's 5 years later and it doesn't cover everything listed by you but I suppose ions are out of scope and we can make separete template about them. Greatings, π•π•€π•œπ•₯𝕠𝕣 π•π•’π•Ÿπ•–π•§ (talk) 11:12, 29 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for improvements. I see 1,3,4,6 have been actioned. I suppose I was looking for support for my suggestions before I did anything. What do you think about reducing the nonnotable germanes, azanes, phosphanes, polysulfanes liknks? (#2). Graeme Bartlett (talk) 08:15, 30 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Template change

This is still work in progress, but here is my idea how to change this template:π•π•€π•œπ•₯𝕠𝕣 π•π•’π•Ÿπ•–π•§ (talk) 10:10, 29 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

More Reader-friendly Organization of the Template

I wonder can we use the periodic table format as used in other compound categories to make this more readable? Thank you! Sigma (Zhifei) Liu (talk) 17:30, 23 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
