NPOV and verify tags

This article seems to have been written from the point of view of an advocate of traditional birth attendants. Other POVs are necessary to improve the article. Also, the article should cite its sources. moink 02:04, 9 June 2006 (UTC)

I am uncomfortable with these modern labels being given to old-fashioned tasks. Isn't "traditional" just being used as a euphemism for uneducated?203.184.41.226 (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 22:50, 23 February 2013 (UTC)
