Deleted Madden reference
Because endorsements by celebrities can mislead the public in forming a favorable opinion of a product regardless of the product's quality, I deleted the following. "It has been endorsed by John Madden.[citation needed]" Wikipedia is not an advertising poster board. 96.246.63.43 (talk)
Madden continued
Did John Madden 'endorse' tolnaftate or one of the brand name products? It seems unlikely a generic chemical would be 'endorsed' by a celebrity (or anyone). Citation requested. 24.7.178.142 (talk) 02:54, 19 June 2008 (UTC)
- He's done a commercial for tinactin "Boom! touch actin tinactin" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pg1H9PBwLp4 but through endorsing this product which uses Tolnaftate as an active ingredient so in a sence he is advocating, or "endorsing" Tolnaftate. I'd change it to something like "John maden has been known to do commercials for a popular, brand-name anti-fungal product line, a line of products based on Tolnaftate." or what ever. temp sensative?
A Labol for a foot powder I bought says to "store between 15C and 25C, is this substance temperature sensative at all?Xetxo (talk) 22:16, 2 February 2009 (UTC)
I just got off the phone with their 800 number and they said "the consistency of the product will change" at those temperatures. They advised me not to use the product, I'm not convinced they knew much about the product or anything though.Xetxo (talk) 22:22, 2 February 2009 (UTC)
