Without any significant adverse reactions mentioned?

The cited study focused on individuals who have a history of drug abuse, these are the people that are supposed to have a higher limen of drug tolerance. Moreover, nowhere in the discourse was "without any significant adverse reactions" mentioned, whereas only "less impairments" were reported. Any seriously, what's the criterion for significance?
