Other names

Stroke has many names, so i suggest you add 2 other used names to the template: Cerebral Infarction (Ischemic) and Intracranial Hemorrhage (Hemorrhagic). Aidenless (talk) 15:42, 28 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Both of those conditions cause a stroke, but are not the result of a stroke. Zefr (talk) 16:20, 28 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Glycine

Some websites (at least in Russian) recommend giving 10 tablets of glycine to a patient right after symptoms appear. Is this recommendation correct? Nemohuman (talk) 15:55, 15 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Wrong noun

The stroke emergency words should be changed to emergency medicine in the specialty section i guess.2404:8000:1027:85F6:A140:91BB:6B11:B462 (talk) 11:35, 9 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Stroke and the opening declarative statement

Stroke is a very loose term clinically.

NOT all stroke events are actually caused by underlying disease states -

Consider trauma, spontaneous dissections, idiopathy etc. Perhaps semantics - but being so strident at the get go - not sure - think it was fine tbh.

I agree. If notable, any medical conditions similar to stroke or containing the term "stroke", should be created as standalone articles, and then mentioned in stroke (disambiguation). — CrafterNova [ TALK ] [ CONT ] 14:05, 5 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
