I agree with your thoughts. I have left a comment on your talk page with some more details. I am reviewing Wikipedia:Merging and preparing myself to take on this daunting task for a relative newcomer to Wikipedia! Walter Theo Image

The description of the Walter Theo has two different stories. In one instance, it says the image shows him before surgery and the other is after surgery.
