As pentosan polysulfate is a synonym for pentosan_polysulphate, would it be worth moving the content to the other page and adding a redirect? Or vice versa? Jonathan Silverlight 22:41, 1 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, I agree. Sulfate is the correct (IUPAC) spelling, whereas sulphate is just a (typically British) variant on the spelling. willandbeyond.com 03:54, 6 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, it's pretty obvious that they should be merged. Who wants to do it? DiamonDie 16:09, 10 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

This page isn't about pentosan polysulfate at all; it's about interstitial cystitis. Dev33 00:27, 18 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Law suits for eye damage?

I recently saw an attorney ad regarding Elmiron as causing "serious eye damage". Says "call for free test". What's the story, Wikipedia-wise? – S. Rich (talk) 22:55, 20 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Longterm (>5 years) daily use in some people with interstitial cystitis appears to cause an increased incidence of a maculopathy. The mechanism is unclear. Drmobs (talk) 12:05, 26 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
