Talk:Orexin antagonist

Justification for having own article

Although related articles mention this topic (such as orexin and orexin receptor), none of them give a proper overview of the topic, and the information about it is usually scattered throughout the articles, making it rather hard to read about orexin antagonists specifically. A separate article gives a clear main article for all articles on individual orexin antagonists. Mikael Häggström (talk) 06:25, 12 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I'm looking to include some information about using orexin antagonists with co-morbid conditions. I have one source discussing orexin antagonists for insomnia in patients with dementia (https://doi-org.uml.idm.oclc.org/10.1002/14651858.CD009178.pub4), and one source discussing use of lemborexant/suvorexant for insomnia in patients with psychiatric disorders (https://doi-org.uml.idm.oclc.org/10.1177/10398562221092310). The second source also includes some information regarding pharmacokinetic differences between lemborexant and suvorexant, that I would like to include as well. I'm hoping the editors of this article could give me some feedback on the sources and how best to apply them to the article. Thanks! -Moorej1 (talk) 22:27, 18 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
