Ocular Ischemic Syndrome
My mother was diagnoised with this 3 weeks ago. After three different retinal eye specialists, I am convinced there is nothing more to do. My question is that how can a healthy 61 year old woman just wake up blind? The only problem she does have is high cholesterol, 3 months ago and began Zocar? As I write, this is the first sentence in this article: "Ocular ischemic syndrome is the constellation of ocular signs and symptoms secondary to severe, chronic arterial hypoperfusion to the eye."
I feel like Kyle's mom Sheila Broflovski from South Park: "WHAT, WHAT, WHAT!?"
I like technical articles filled with jargon, but when an article starts with jargon, it becomes essentially worthless to the general reader who needs an executive summary to introduce the topic.
