Incomprehensible sentences in the article

These two sentences are incomprehensible: "Coronaviral proteases cleave multiple sites in the viral polyprotein, usually after glutamine residues. Early work on related human rhinoviruses showed that the flexible glutamine side chain could be replaced by a rigid pyrrolidone."

What is hopelessly ambiguous here is what "replaced" is referring to. It's unclear if this is referring to a glutamine side chain on human rhinoviruses, coronaviral proteases or on protease inhibitors. The later sentences refer to pyrrolidone on protease inhibitors, but if that is the case, the second sentence should expressly shift subjects from proteases to protease inhibitors so it's not so confusing. --Coolcaesar (talk) 15:50, 14 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Pinging Vcpmartin, who added that line. He hasn't been active in a couple months. Firefangledfeathers (talk / contribs) 15:59, 14 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

YEs of course it refers to the P1 glutamine/pyrroldone of the inhibitors. Vcpmartin (talk) 06:30, 6 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
