drug type
In my opinion Mipomersen is not a RNA interference drug, it mechanism of action is clearly an Antisense one. Mipomersen only targets the mRNA of apoB-100, but by an RNAse H dependend Antisense effect. It should also be mentioned in the article that Mipomersen is a second generation chimeric 20mer oligonucleotide consisting of 2'-MOE-RNA and DNA moieties.

Reads like a press release
