can't this article at least use the word "chemotherapy" to describe this drug also used in combo with cetuximab successfully —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.129.7.137 (talk) 07:47, 13 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

A new FDA approved formulation

"On October 22, 2015, the FDA approved irinotecan liposome injection (Onivyde)" [1] - Should it be added to this article ? -

Sure. As a second line agent I have moved it to the body of the article and formatted the ref. Doc James (talk · contribs · email) 06:31, 13 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

This article needs adjusting

I'll edit if I get time but I'm not every efficient at this unfortunately. Irinotecan has more uses and combinations than stated in this article - part of Folfirinox which is considered 1st line for pancreatic cancer in the much of the UK ( https://www.pancreaticcancer.org.uk/information/treatments-for-pancreatic-cancer/chemotherapy/folfirinox/ ), it can be used alongside cetuximab ( https://www.cancer.gov/about-cancer/treatment/drugs/folfiri-cetuximab ) and separately panitumumab ( https://www.cancerresearchuk.org/about-cancer/cancer-in-general/treatment/cancer-drugs/drugs/panitumumab ). — Preceding unsigned comment added by Nexttime4 (talkcontribs) 23:23, 20 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
