Why show stereo bonds in the image?--ChemSpiderMan (talk) 22:52, 18 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Cite, please

"The chemical is a skin, eye and respiratory irritant. It is also corrosive and causes burns. It doesn't hurt at 10% concentration (3% hydrogen peroxide equivalent) but it might hurt at 35% (12% equivalent), causing white chemical burns on skin and gums alike." -- Please cite. -- Writtenonsand (talk) 12:27, 24 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Please also provide information about commercial uses. How much does anhydrous carbamide peroxide cost? Where is it produced? Ron 17:01, 14 August 2010 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Rnielsen7222 (talkcontribs)

Erroneous images

The name of the image at the top of the chembox showing the structural formula is "urea.png", so it's clearly an error. Also, below that, the first ball-and-rod depiction seems to correspond to the top image, so I think that might also be an error.

What's left of my high school chemistry was barely enough to suspect there was a problem. Thus, I am forced to leave the correction to someone who knows much more than I do.

I propose to move Carbamide peroxide to Urea hydrogen peroxide (or something similar). Chemists dont use the term carbamide very much.. So my plan was to do the move and then go back and correct the resulting double directs, which appear to be about ten in number. It seems noncontroversial but I am giving a notice in case people sense a problem. We also need to change the image which needs to show some sort of H-bonded adduct. I am away and cannot get that pdf now but will correct that issue (see previous comment on this Talk page). --Smokefoot (talk) 23:20, 7 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

:Interesting about the "Chemists don't use Carbamide" much - besides some other passing reference I saw elsewhere about germ care skin agents talking about "carbamide class of acids", it's printed directly on the Debrox (and generic) active ingredient for earwax, which also should cover the Citation Needed. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.201.132.252 (talk) 10:26, 22 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

user:Eddie123e: Thanks for tagging it. Have you seen that there are references for all the reactions just below the picture? Minihaa (talk) 15:20, 2 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Minihaa: Thanks for advising! But the reactions of aromatic hydroxyaldehydes to corresponding benzoic acids is not mentioned in the picture. It can be misleading for beginners. That's why I tagged it. It will be removed once a better picture found. --Eddie123e 15:42, 2 August 2017 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Eddie123e (talkcontribs) [reply]

Ok, thanks for clarification. Minihaa (talk) 10:27, 4 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
