probably because of the risk of Reyes Disease, given that the sufferers are children

Etymology

I have corrected the etymology for Herp - ie creeping rather than itch, but I suspect it is one step removed from that ie its called herpangina because the blisters resemble those of herpes, not directly becuase of any creeping nature - however that is only surmise so I haven't added it -if anyone has evidence it would improve things — Preceding unsigned comment added by 80.193.87.162 (talk) 08:10, 14 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
