where is this mentioned in citation #50?

By 2007, in the US, incidence of general OPC, including non-HPV associated, is 1.9 per 100,000 all-sexes/year.Whereismylunch (talk) 07:49, 11 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Bibliography

Is everything listed in the bibliography used in the text? I trimmed these as they do not appear to be used.[1] Doc James (talk · contribs · email) 17:16, 19 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

We should not be using primary sources such as these. Doc James (talk · contribs · email) 20:33, 21 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Yes they are used and deleting them created a whole lot of citations not pointing anywhere so I restored them. We should discuss the question of primary sources more generally. Perhaps at project level? --Michael Goodyear (talk) 16:30, 4 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
They should be replaced by high quality secondary sources. Doc James (talk · contribs · email) 16:32, 4 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Those were already in place - the primary sources were supplementary --Michael Goodyear   01:42, 28 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Merge with article on oral cancer

HPV+ oral cancers are a subset of all oral cancers. Much of this information applies to HPV- oral cancers. Initial tumor symptoms and signs and treatment are almost if not always identical for example. These articles should be merged 104.128.161.34 (talk) 05:43, 30 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

The article is large and it will not be easy. Ruslik_Zero 20:45, 30 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
