Epidemiology
Under the Age subhed, "Plaguelike" (emphasis mine) should be changed to "Plaquelike". Can someone with a medical background confirm and make the change?

Discovery
"...and was first described at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City." This line is incorrect. The citation link was dead, so I searched for it at Mt. Sinai's new site, and found this. Dr. Otani first described a glomus jugulare tumor, which is a paraganglioma that is entirely different from the true glomus tumor described by this article (arising from cells of the glomus body). Deleting this and adding a citation for a correct attribution. Blahdenoma (talk) 07:43, 2 May 2011 (UTC)
Genetics
This entire section:
- Research has indicated that there are at least four genetic mutations that lead to a glomus tumor. If there is no underlying inherited condition, then the tumor is considered "sporadic" or random. Mutations are masked when inherited through mothers, which allows mutations to pass through a generation without making themselves plainly obvious.
also refers to paragangliomas, not true glomus tumors. Deleting it and adding actual genetic findings. Blahdenoma (talk) 08:07, 2 May 2011 (UTC)
