Elevated levels of fibroblast growth factor 23 (FGF-23)play a role in the development of atherosclerotic plaque. I do not think that FGF-23 is of "low importance" in the field of molecular biology. Further reading section is completely overblown

I see no rhyme and reason in amassing so many articles under "further reading".

Most are primary resources, many subscription only and none are review articles. I am inclined to delete them . Wuerzele (talk) 20:13, 6 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
