Medicine is moving away from naming stuff after people. This condition is now known as Esophageal rupture as per the ICD10 and Woo KM, Schneider JI (2009). - Uptodate says that "Effort rupture of the esophagus" is the same as "Boerhaave's syndrome". I still think both effort rupture and non effort rupture should be dealt with here.--Doc James (talk · contribs · email) 09:50, 27 May 2010 (UTC)
I'd be in favor of calling the page "Esophageal rupture", since it deals with both Boerhaave S. and non-effort rupture of the esophagus.88.147.59.151 (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 19:19, 15 June 2016 (UTC)
