There's a New Zealand section now. Sounds like it still needs an Australia section. Any other countries? Are there any countries with similar roles that use different names, which could be either be described here or referenced in "see also" section? Hopscotch23 (talk) 18:12, 9 February 2018 (UTC)

Employment in UK

This article is both out of date and wrong. Out of date because District Nurses (and Health Visitors etc.) in England are now in large part employed by private organisations, often in the guise of a Community Interest Company (CIC) (see for example Bromley Healthcare). Wrong because CCGs do not "employ" District Nurses; the role of the CCG is to commission services from the CIC or other service provider. - comment from User:31.185.248.116, moved to talk page by Gaia Octavia Agrippa ^Talk 16:11, 26 October 2017 (UTC)

Who employs them has been disputed several times in the articles history, each time with messy editing. I've tidied up the article with a disputed-inline template, so it still reads the same as before. Hopscotch23 (talk) 18:20, 9 February 2018 (UTC)

NMC

The article says quite early on that the role requires nurses to take an NMC certificate but it does not say what NMC stands for. Vorbee (talk) 21:08, 19 December 2017 (UTC)
