Clinical Trials

I would like to add information about Delafloxacin's clincal trials. I was wondering how to cite this so as to not get removed. I'm very new to writing on wikipedia, but was wondering why the government clinical trials site was found "unsourced". Thanks for your help. Caleb.akers (talk) 19:06, 30 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia content is preferentially based on secondary sources. If all you want to do, is say that trials happened in the past, any secondary source per WP:RS is fine (this is just history). If you want to describe results of those trials, WP:MEDRS sources are needed. Ongoing trials are generally not OK per WP:NOTNEWS. Jytdog (talk) 19:56, 30 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
