I am concerned that the side effect profile for felines and canines in this stub is inadequate. Whilst Pfizer/Zoetis have not published data, a US veterinarian Dr. Lisa A Pierson who has an especial interest in felines is assiduously chasing down reports of sudden death (+/- 24 hrs) or serious adverse drug events in young, otherwise healthy canines and felines after subcutaneous injection of cefovecin alone. She asserts "The most common reactions I have read reports of are anemia, tremors/ataxia, seizures, diarrhea, lethargy, anorexia, and death." (My own cat has suffered lethargy and general "lack of spark" for approx. 6 weeks after treatment with cefovecin both times, which is of concern [I must file an ADE report soon]) Convenia/cefovecin is a relatively new drug - and post-marketing adverse drug event reporting even in human medicine is lackadaisical to say the least. It would not be inappropriate to include Dr. Pierson's early indicators that Convenia (cefovecin) may be less innocuous than Pfizer/Zoetis have reported thus far. Article: "Convenia: Worth the Risk?" Problem in References

All endnotes except for number 3 generate errors as follows. Endnotes 1, 5, 6: For each, my computer generated an error message that said, "There is a problem with this website’s security certificate."
