This article should be renamed the Blalock-Thomas-Taussig shunt, and the current name should redirect to that page name. Citation: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/14525641 — Preceding unsigned comment added by 108.87.39.215 (talk) 22:38, 17 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Blalock–Taussig shuntBlalock–Thomas–Taussig shunt – This surgical method has been renamed the "Blalock-Thomas-Taussig shunt" in order to give credit to Vivien Thomas, a key inventor of the method who was not previously given credit. This change has been reflected in the article itself but not the title of the article. Mch232823 (talk) 22:32, 26 May 2021 (UTC) Relisting. No such user (talk) 14:22, 9 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

  • The cited references refer to this as "The Blalock-Taussig shunt" or "Blalock and Taussig shunt". Can references be added that refer to it by the proposed name? wbm1058 (talk) 16:26, 27 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • Also the MOS–en dash folks are probably gonna want to use those instead of hyphens. wbm1058 (talk) 16:31, 27 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
