Layout ideas/help

The inclusion of three long, upright photos in a row is really messing up the page layout. I've tried to improve on it but have not had much success. Can anyone with more image layout experience help with this?

Also, at the end of the article, the long list leaves a lot of white space, which is unappealing. Can anyone set this up in perhaps columns?
