This is making a mountain out of a mole hill, but Henry Bence Jones does not have a hyphen in the name. See also the entry in Whonamedit.com [1].

MGUS is not myeloma

I had a patient today who looked up Bence-Jones on the internet and came away convinced she had myeloma. There is a difference--in many cases there is just an MGUS that needs to be worked up by a hematologist...it's how we make a living.--Dr.michael.benjamin 06:59, 3 July 2007 (UTC)

It says : it becomes increasingly common with age, being present in 1 % of persons older than 50 years and 4 $ of those over 70 years. There are no bone lesions, no Bence-Jones proteinuria, and the normal proportion of plasma cells in the marrow is normal (< 4 %) or only slightly raised. See p. 225 on MGUS.
