With the diverse names associated with the subject it would seem better suited covered under a named article like Ibuprofen brand names where they could all be included. Otr500 (talk) 06:47, 24 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Per MOS:PHARM, drugs are covered under their international nonproprietary name. The trade names redirect there. Excedrin (brand) and Anadin have their own articles that are about the brands, which incude a number of different formulations. Goody's Powder should arguably be merged into Aspirin/paracetamol/caffeine. Cheers --ἀνυπόδητος (talk) 11:32, 24 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks, maybe an embedded list with all the names like that article? There definitely is a need for some redirects. I see what you mean about Goody's. Otr500 (talk) 07:11, 26 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Combination with alcohol

As with all medications containing paracetamol(acetaminophen), concomitant use with alcohol carries a significant risk of hepatotoxicity”

That’s overstating the risk, implying that normal (“concomitant”) use of alcohol and paracetamol carries a *significant* risk is not a supported statement. I cannot find the cited paper to confirm, but most drug safety pamphlets on paracetamol note a risk of liver damage for overdose or already damaged liver.

i believe this should be removed unless someone can find some other citation suggesting *normal* use of alcohol with *normal* use of paracetamol carries a *significant* risk of liver damage 212.123.250.3 (talk) 03:54, 24 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
