A lung tumor is an uncontrolled growth of cells in the lung, including lung cancer and lung nodules.[3] These include:
Primary tumors of the lung/pulmonary system:
- Bronchial leiomyoma, a rare, benign tumor
- Lung cancer, the term commonly used to refer to carcinoma of the lung
- Pulmonary carcinoid tumor
- Pleuropulmonary blastoma
- Neuroendocrine tumors of the lung[4]
- Lymphomas of the lung.[5]
- Sarcomas of the lung.[6]
- Some rare vascular tumors of the lung[5]
Non-lung tumors which may grow into the lungs:
