Interestingly, epicardial T2 time was elevated (arrowheads) indicative for acute tissue oedema. b Late gadolinium enhancement (LGE) in subendocardial layers (red arrows) of the left and right ventricle corresponded to reduced T2 time suspective of subendocardial fibrosis. However, epicardial layers were not affected with LGE, but with increased T2 time
