| Description |
English⧼Colon⧽ F10: Chondrogenesis and ossification induced by repeated trauma/hematoma to the auricle. A 38-year-old Japanese male presented with auricular hypertrophy (cauliflower ear) on both sides due to long-term judo training (A). An otoplasty involving resection of the hypertrophied tissue was performed, and chondrogenesis containing many ossified areas was observed in the surgical specimen (B). The preoperative CT scan revealed multiple ossifications in the auricle (C). |
