Description
English⧼Colon⧽ Syndesmotic injury, aka “high ankle sprain”, in a 44-year-old woman who fell down the steps one month ago. Sequential axial fat-sup- pressed T2-weighted magnetic resonance images of the ankle demonstrate a tear of the inferior interosseous ligament (white arrow, A), complete tear of the anterior tibiofibular ligament (white curved arrow, B), sprain of the posterior tibiofibular ligament (black curved arrow, B) and sprain of the inferior transverse tibiofibular ligament (black arrow, C)
