English: What is long QT syndrome? Long QT syndrome describes when somebody's QT interval's longer than normal, which is often associated with an increased risk of a dangerous arrhythmia called torsade de pointes. This video covers the pathophysiology behind a long QT interval, the development of torsade de pointes, as well as potential causes and symptoms.
