Description |
English: Images of the 14-15th c. Welsh language manuscript photographed in 1997 for the project 'Early Manuscripts at Oxford University'.
Text (translated from Welsh): Since it is through the qualities of the urine that a person’s faults and his dangers and his diseases and his illness can be identified, from far and near, firstly we would like to demonstrate what urine is. The first is fluid and blood, which travels the natural places of the body. The second is the bowels, to do their duty. The third is the veins, to take the various humours (yellow bile and phlegm). The fourth is the role of the kidneys through serving their humours. Those are sent to the bladder and from that all the signs of disease are seen. And for that reason the good and bad signs are discerned from the fluidity of the urine and its colour.Cymraeg: Delweddau o'r 14-15g. Tynnwyd lluniau'r llawysgrif Gymraeg hon ym 1997 ar gyfer y prosiect 'Llawysgrifau Cynnar ym Mhrifysgol Rhydychen'.
Dyma'r union destun: Kannys drwy ansoddeu y trwnc y gellir adnabot beieu dyn, a’e berygleu a’e heineu a’e gleuyt, o bell ac agos, yn gyntaf ni a vynnwn dangos ba beth yw y trwng.
