Description: CT head (axial) showing invasive mucormycosis of the maxillary sinus in a 60 year old female who presented with double vision, photophobia, pain on moving eye, right maxillary pain, numbness and swelling. FNE: pus and crusiting right nasal cavity with oedema of maxillary meatus. Right maxillary sinusitis with extension into the orbit through the orbital floor. Inflamed inferior rectus muscle and right sided proptosis. Inflammatory change tracks posteriorly into the pterygopalatine fossa.
