Description
English: Glucose-6-Phosphate Dehydrogenase isoenzymes in Plasmodium falciparum infected Red Blood Cells. The isoenzymes were detected according to Siciliano, Shaw (1976) Separation and visualization of enzymes on gels in: Chromatographic and Electrophoretic Techniques, W. Heinemann Medical Books, London, The heavily stained band is the host G-6-PDH activity, the slow moving band is the bifunctional enzyme Glucose-6-Phosphate dehydrogenase-6-phosphogluconolactonase from the malaria parasites.
