Summary

Description
English: What are Duchenne and Becker muscular dystrophy? Muscular dystrophy is where the muscles weaken and lose muscle mass; in this case, both Duchenne and Becker muscular dystrophy are caused by a genetic mutation in the dystrophin gene. This video covers the pathophysiology of both, as well as clinical signs and symptoms, and diagnosis, and management.
