English: B-flow mode of ultrasonography over a valve of the great saphenous vein a couple of centimeters above the level of the knee of a 67 year old woman who had developed a thrombosed aneurysm inferiorly. Blood is normally flowing toward left in the image, but compression and subsequent decompression causes a visible venous reflux (flow toward right in the image). |
