Summary
DescriptionPrince Charles Edward Stuart (antique) tartan, tileable.png
English: The "Prince Charles Edward Stuart" tartan, a variant of royal Stewart with a smaller proportion of red, and differing widths of thin over-checks. This version is in the "antique" palette (which may be exclusive to the weaver Lochcarron of Scotland). A typical option for clan and fashion use. This is a software-generated approximation of the tartan in this palette; the cloth from an actual weaver might differ significantly (and differ from that of another weaver; there is a lot of artistic license when it comes to producting tartan cloth in various colourways). This image was generated for palette-comparison purposes in a particular Wikipedia article. The image is exactly full-sett, and can tile horizontally and vertically. For Scottish Register of Tartans's notes on this sett and the threadcount, see the "modern" version. For the version used originally by 72nd Seaforth (Highland) Regiment of Foot, Duke of Albany's Own, see the regimental version.
