DescriptionPresident Ford talks to ASTP crew.jpg
English: President Gerald R. Ford watches ASTP crewmen Thomas P. Stafford, Donald K. Slayton and Valeriy N. Kubasov on television as he talks to them via radio-telephone while they orbited the Earth on July 18, 1975. The American Apollo spacecraft and Soviet Soyuz spacecraft were docked.
This is a retouched picture, which means that it has been digitally altered from its original version. Modifications: normalize color, contrast, levels; retouch the worst blemishes; crop whitespace.
The NASA website hosts a large number of images from the Soviet/Russian space agency, and other non-American space agencies. These are not necessarily in the public domain.
The SOHO (ESA & NASA) joint project implies that all materials created by its probe are copyrighted and require permission for commercial non-educational use. [3]
