El 10 de noviembre de 1966, comienza en Tartagal, provincia de Salta, la Operación Orion-Eclipse. Durante un eclipse total de sol se lanzan tres cohetes Orion II para estudiar el flujo de neutrones. Constituye el aporte del IIAE al estudio del fenómeno, en el que participan diversas instituciones extranjeras. |
