Description
English: Availability of elective abortion in Mexico, dates counted from implantation, and colored to be comparable with File:Abortion availability in the US by fetal gestational age.svg.
 
Illegal under state law, with exceptions for rape, life and sometimes maternal health or fetal defects, but police report not required for rape exemption and abortion-providers are not prosecuted, due to legality under federal law
 
Legal during the first 12 weeks (i.e. before the 13th week); equivalent to 15 weeks gestational age in the US
 
Legal for economic reasons (incl. mother already has 3 children)
