Summary
DescriptionCerrig y Gof chambered tomb - geograph.org.uk - 202375.jpg
English: Cerrig y Gof chambered tomb. This is an unusual coastal tomb comprising several chambers, probably Bronze Age. Only one of the capstones is still in place. It has good sightlines to Carn Ingli and Pen Dinas (shown). The site is on private land beside the A487 but access, although not invited, is possible over a gateway with no indication that it is not permitted.
November 2007: the stones have become partially hidden among a tangle of briars and bracken which reduces that visual impact of the monument. It will be a pity if it became completely lost from view.
